When I first met Amy and Nancy Harrington, sisters and co-founders of The Passionistas Project, I was struck by the energy they brought into every conversation. Their laughter, shared memories, and the seamless way they finish each other’s sentences showcased the kind of bond that comes with both being siblings and kindred spirits. As we talked, it became clear that their connection wasn’t just about their relationship—it was the foundation of a thriving global community of women: The Passionistas Project Sisterhood.

The Passionistas Project began as a podcast, where Amy and Nancy spotlighted women whose stories deserved to be heard. But it grew into something so much more. It became a movement—a place where women from all walks of life come together to connect, share, and empower one another. The duo understood a critical need: women want spaces where they can be vulnerable, authentic, and supported, especially when the world feels isolating or overwhelming.

For so long, society has conditioned women to put others first, to shrink themselves to fit into roles that don’t honor their full potential, and to “do it all” without asking for help. But the truth is, no one thrives alone. And yet, loneliness is a growing epidemic, especially for women navigating major life transitions: leaving a corporate career, launching a passion project, or even becoming empty nesters.

Amy and Nancy recognized that. They saw how women craved not just connection, but authentic connection. They dreamed of a space where women could gather, free from judgment, and truly see and support one another.

In creating The Passionistas Project Sisterhood, they gave birth to more than a community—they gave birth to a movement. Here, women can bring their whole selves, from their big wins to their quiet struggles, and know they’ll be met with understanding and kindness.

One of the most remarkable aspects of The Passionistas Project Sisterhood is its intentional focus on inclusivity. Amy and Nancy have worked hard to make the space diverse and representative of the real world. From marginalized communities to women from all backgrounds, the sisterhood is a tapestry of experiences, perspectives, and voices.

The community also centers around three pillars:

  • Business Networking: For women navigating the entrepreneurial space, there are opportunities to connect, learn, and grow alongside like-minded peers.
  • Personal Growth: The sisterhood fosters an environment where self-care, mindfulness, and personal development are celebrated.
  • Social Impact: Members are united by a shared desire to make the world a better place, whether through activism, advocacy, or community service.

This isn’t just about networking or self-promotion—it’s about genuine connection. Members are constantly asking, “How can I support you?” and they mean it.

As Amy, Nancy, and I spoke during our podcast episode, we touched on something profound: the idea of breaking generational curses. For so long, women have carried the weight of societal expectations, often at the expense of their own needs and desires. Many of us grew up watching our mothers and grandmothers sacrifice everything for their families and communities, rarely prioritizing themselves.

But we’re in a moment of change. Women are realizing that prioritizing their well-being isn’t selfish—it’s revolutionary. And in spaces like The Passionistas Project Sisterhood, they’re finding the tools, connections, and inspiration to make that shift.

Amy and Nancy’s work is a testament to the fact that when women come together, magic happens. They’ve created a space where women can not only find their voices but amplify the voices of others.

If you’ve been searching for a community that feels like home—a place where you can let your guard down, connect with other incredible women, and grow both personally and professionally—look no further than The Passionistas Project Sisterhood.

Here, you’ll find a network of women who are passionate, purpose-driven, and ready to support you every step of the way. Whether you’re launching a new venture, navigating a life change, or simply looking for a safe space to be yourself, you belong here.
